I realised my label when I was 11 living in Zimbabwe, Africa. Julian Garner has stuck with me ever since and later in life an opportunity allowed me to be able to focus on creating my brand.
In 2014 I trained in millinery at the London College of Fashion and since have gone on to work within the millinery industry ever since.
With five moods been created since launching my first collection in 2015, Spring Summer/Autumn Winter 2016, I have gone on to succeed in many areas of my label, most importantly happiness through been able to create.
The label is growing a steady following and has been worn by Royals, Celebrities and appeared in a variety of editorial photo shoots for publications like, Vogue, Paper Magazine, Ansinth, Hello and OK! Magazine, including the Official Royal Ascot Style Guide in 2019 and 2020.
In 2018 the label picked up an award, placing 3rd in the prestigious Worshipful Company of Felt Makers Design Award, having previously placed as one of three runners-up in the international hat competition, Hut Skulptur 2017, in Munster, Germany.
As a small label I am seeking opportunities to be as sustainable as can possibly be, through sourcing materials that are natural, animal free where possible and within the United Kingdom. Everything is hand made using traditional millinery techniques and methods to achieve a finished product that is light and luxurious. As a way of giving back to where I take from, 10% of profits are donated to the World Land Trust when two of my styles, The Pride and Proud Halo Band, are sold as well as contributing towards charities within my L.G.B.T.Q.I.A. plus community.
I love to create bespoke orders for my individual clients, whether they be ladies or gentlemen. My imagination is my strongest asset, and I aim to turn the inspiration I find in the world around me into original pieces of wearable art I also offer ready to wear, one-off pieces, which can be viewed on my website. Each item is completely handmade in the United Kingdom.
I hope you enjoy looking at my work and I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
